REVERSE OSMOSIS

For the vast majority of locations, this costly and wasteful treatment system is unneeded, especially in the United States. A
ll of the large municipal water treatment facilities pre-treat their source water in a fashion similar to RO so that, generally, including RO in your water vending unit is an expensive case of overkill. However, there will be locations where the water quality is suspect and contains high amounts of unwanted and/or unhealthy  minerals and chemicals.  In some cases, only an RO system will bring the water up to a high quality level.

We at CHEM-FREE are aware of this and are pleased to offer a simple, high quality commercial systems that will produce the quality level of water that your customers want and are entitled to.  Our units do not require very high pressure to perform properly.  Since we operate many of our own vending machines, this experience has allowed us to eliminate many of the costly and unneeded features and gadgets which tend to cause service calls and do not add anything to the system. With our newest Model 5000 we are able to provide a complete system at a remarkably low, low price.

Of primary importance is knowing what the incoming water supply contains and in what quantity.  Pre-treatment may be necessary to insure that the RO system itself will not be adversly impacted and that it is able to produce the highest quality of water to the dispensers.  We provide a short checklist to give us a baseline from which we can make appropriate suggestions. In some cases we have found that the use of specialty filters can eliminate the need for Reverse Osmosis altogether.

To enable us to make any determination we must first ask a number of questions. Ideally, if it possible, you might want to contact your local water treatment plant and ask them for a copy of their latest test results. If these are not available then feel free to contact one of our representatives who can walk you through the short process and arrange to send you specification sheets.  Our toll-free telephone number is 800-735-2831 or via email at chemfree@adelphia.net.  Certain key numbers  about the incoming water supply is necessary in order to give you a complete and accurate quote.  We will need to know the following;

Water pressure PSI
Iron content  PPM
pH  range
Chlorine  PPM
Hardness GPG
TDS  PPM
